Is My Online Application Secure?
FNBB uses encryption for online security. Encryption technology helps provide secure transmission data using a mathematical formula to scramble the data. Without a corresponding “decoder,” the transmission would look like nonsense text and would be unusable. We maintain strict security standards and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to your information.
Why Do You Need My Social Security Number?
We ask for your SSN to help verify your identity and, if the account is interest bearing, we must report interest earned on the account to the IRS using your SSN.
Why is Personal Information Required to Open an Account Online?
Your application is processed subject to our ability to verify your identity. (For more information, see “What Do I Need to Open an Account Online?” above.) 2
